Songbailing, Nantou • Rare Winter-Flush Harvest • Crisp Frost-Kissed Profile
Cultivated in the rolling, fog-enshrouded plateau of Songbailing in Mingjian, Nantou, this exceptionally rare oolong is born from a natural micro-climate phenomenon. Following the traditional winter harvest, brief warming trends encourage tea bushes to push out resilient, tender green shoots between December and January.
Due to the extreme cold night temperatures, growth is painstakingly slow, producing highly concentrated essential oils with almost nonexistent astringency. The liquor pours a glowing golden-honey emerald, featuring a distinctively crisp, chilly sweetness (Leng Lie Gan Yun) and delicate winter blooms that linger long on the palate.
